Our 2024 Angus and Shorthorn bulls will be ready to work this summer. All of these bulls have made it through a rigorous structural and temperament assessment, whilst showing the growth and muscle that the market demands.
The bulls have spent the winter together on a TMR and will be fit to serve 15-20 cows this summer. They will all be semen tested, and we are happy to deliver bulls anywhere in Dumfries and Galloway.
Our Angus bulls include a string of sons of Draft Pick. His direct calving ease score of +10.5 means he is a trait leader in the breed, and his moderate mature cow means his daughters do not need a lot of feed to maintain condition.
There are also bulls by Deal Maker and Eros. These home-bred bulls have solid performing females behind them.
Our Shorthorn bulls include sons of Nomad and Picasso who have both performed well for us. Both bulls are easier calving, shorter gestation, and lighter birthweight than many other bulls in the breed.
