Vinci 8147 (Lot 191) leads the three Chapelton bulls we have forward for the sale in Stirling on 2nd February 2026. If you would like to see the bulls before the Sale, or if you would like more informaiton, please let us know.
All three bulls have been fertility tested.
Chapelton Vinci
Vinci is a powerful and striking son of Powerplay. His dam, June 6405 (pictured below), and his maternal grand-dam are both still on farm, as is a maternal half-sister and a maternal aunt. Powerplay is a son of the renowned Melita Rose cow family making Vinci a real cow breeder without sacrificing on flesh.
Vinci sold for 10,000 gns to a breeder near Galashiels.

Chapelton Vulcan
Vulcan 8154 (Lot 192) is another well-framed son of Powerplay with very good EBVs. He is a maternal half brother to Chapelton Toulouse who is being used on our own pedigree cows.
Vulcan sold to a breeder in Northumberland for 9,500 gns.

Chapelton Venturer
Venturer (Lot 215) is one of the very last Chapelton Nomad (Ex 95) sons to be offered for sale. Nomad has bred exceptionally for us, and we think he exemplifies the very best of the Shorthorn breed.
Venturer is a smaller-framed bull and a a full brother to Sebastian. We are confident he will leave cows that are fit for the future in any herd he joins.
Venturer made 6,000 gns and headed north to breed replacement cows in a commercial herd.
